To all our dear customers…

We have made the extremely difficult decision that we will be closing Fanna’s permanently. It has definitely been a challenge here at Fanna’s these past six weeks. Being a relatively new business, this pandemic has hit us hard. The year and a half that we have been open we have certainly been faced with some unanticipated challenges…a “polar vortex” winter our first year, the three months of road construction this fall and now this pandemic.

We have had numerous discussions about the fate of Fanna’s and it

has come down to the fact that we are not able to sustain the business without taking out further loans. That is not something we want to do at this point in our lives. So, that means this week will be the last week that Fanna’s will be serving food. We will not be opening the dining room back up when Wisconsin finally allows that.

We have both obtained full time jobs in the work areas that we are experienced in and we feel very blessed to have been able to do that during these times. Both of us start our new positions on Monday, May 4th.

Fanna’s curbside food to-go will run through this week, Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-1:30. Saturday, May 2 will be the last day that we will be serving food. Once the retail restrictions in Wisconsin are lifted, we will be reopening only the retail part of Fanna’s on Saturdays in June, maybe into July, to clear out the remaining retail merchandise.

Any outstanding gift certificates will be honored this week toward food purchases or merchandise purchases from our videos that we have been posting. We will continue to honor the gift certificates toward retail merchandise, during the Saturdays that we are open during June or July.

We cannot thank you all enough for your support and encouragement since we began this venture. It has been a privilege and a blessing to have gotten to know all of you and to have been able to serve you. We cannot put into words how much your support has meant to us, since the beginning and through this pandemic as well.

We would like to thank our amazing employees…Jayna, Dianne, Sami, Julie, Kathy, Jane, Rachel, Lorna and Cassie. We were so truly fortunate to have such hard working, fun-loving, wonderful employees. Fond memories will definitely remain with us!

This is certainly not the intent we had when we started Fanna’s, but God always has a plan and He will guide us as we go forward.

Please come in, when we are able to open again, even to just say hi!

With our love,
Chris & Cathy
